GoMobile Trucks

You know how some of the world’s best achievements happened by accident? (Take the serendipitous discoveries of Velcro, Post-it Notes and the microwave oven.) We never intended to get into the business of selling advertising vehicles. In fact, we started out by looking for a mobile advertising vehicle that we could sell advertising on in Seattle.

But lo and behold, after exploring the few companies that were out there, we just weren’t that impressed. At least until our search led us to an engineer from Florida with a vision and a prototype he had built with his son in his garage. The genius and innovation behind Bill Ostergaard helped them form Motionadz, and we became the national sales arm, GoMobile Advertising. Now, the partnership has a total of over 45 employees, and a national affiliate network of over 50 operators in North American markets, including 16 of the top 20 advertising markets in the US.

And we didn’t stop there; since the first day of our operation we have sold and will continue to sell out-of-the-box advertising campaigns in our own market, and provide every new and current affiliate 24-hour access to our business model as we grow as a company. We have worked on a local and national level with Miller Brewing Company, General Motors, McDonalds, KFC, DR Horton, Safeco Insurance, IKEA, Comcast, CW Network, Century Tel, Palm, and Gannett, just to name a few. Our model is simple. If we help our affiliates be successful, we as an industry and as a company will be more successful. But don’t take our word for it--check out what some of our affiliates have to say by clicking here.

OUR MISSION

GoMobile Advertising’s mission is to provide entrepreneurs with the resources to build their business and in turn, a national affiliate network through scrolling billboards and 3-D displays in the mobile out-of-home advertising industry. We strive to provide businesses with groundbreaking, measurable, strategic out-of-home advertising opportunities through guerilla and non-traditional marketing on a local and national scale at a low cost. We also actively work to enrich our community through partnering with non-profits. We are:  Branding.  Promotions.  Community.

WHY OUTDOOR?

In a world of TiVo, iPods, satellite radio, slipping newspaper ratings and tightening ad budgets, out of home advertising is the only advertising medium that will continue to stand the test of time because it is not controlled by consumers. It can’t be turned off, tuned out or tossed away. It is the fastest growing form of advertising, one of the oldest, and one of the most prominent.

Out-of-home advertising is a 6.8 billion dollar-a-year industry that covers everything from cardboard coffee cup rings to advertising on the space shuttle. Somewhere in between is the practical, affordable, high-impact, frequency, and reach—world of mobile advertising. Click here to go to the OAAA website to find out more about the success of outdoor.

WHY GOMOBILE?

Would you trust your five-year-old to take your car out for the weekend? Neither would we. Our owners alone bring over 70 years combined experience in advertising sales and marketing management. We know advertising. We understand the industry. We’ve seen the transitions that advertising has made over the last century. And we sell the best vehicle on the planet to meet the needs of today’s advertisers for outdoor and experiential marketing.

No gimmicks, no unnecessary features, and no strings. We operate the same vehicles in Seattle that we sell nationwide, and through working with some of the largest national brands we witness their advertising needs on a daily basis. Our vehicles, built by Motionadz, are a direct reflection of those needs. Our vehicle’s design is not based on predictions. It is based on experience.

We also provide you with a system, not just a vehicle. Anyone can buy an advertising vehicle and drive it around. We provide you with hundreds of pages of business materials, research and development, hands-on sales and vehicle training, conferences and conference calls, software updates, manuals, presentations, national contacts, and 24-hour customer service. In addition, upon purchasing a vehicle through us you not only receive our support, but the support of a family of over 50 affiliates in North America, including the framework for national campaigns. Come join us for the ride.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

CrimeStoppers

We used BioDiesel before it was cool.
We believe that in addition to enriching the lives of consumers by providing them with relevant advertising, it is our responsibility to do everything we can to reduce our environmental footprint, including fueling our Seattle fleet on BioDiesel, a renewable resource. We encourage our affiliates to do the same in markets where BioDiesel is available.

Non-profits are companies, too, you know.
We have made it a priority to partner with non-profits to help important messages reach consumers in areas that many advertisers can’t. GoMobile donates three advertisements on each scrolling vehicle every month, and we have worked with numerous non-profits including Partnership for a Drug Free America, Ronald McDonald House, The Humane Society, and Volunteers of America.

Is it effective? Ask the criminal we caught last year.
GoMobile and Crime Stoppers have been working together to catch criminals in the Seattle market. In 2006, GoMobile featured a wanted criminal that upon turning himself in, told police he was “Tired of seeing my face driving all over town.” We have since worked with Crime Stoppers toward the apprehension of criminals other markets nationwide.

Our blue chip clients like us, too.

With every exclusive advertiser in our own market, we build a PR calendar that includes as many community events and opportunities as we can muster. With our last campaign for KFC, for example, we fed 50 teens at the South Park Community Center in South Seattle. But that’s just how we roll.
